The Health Agency announces 776 new cases with 157 (20%) belonging to NCR. There were 32 added deaths and the 7-day positivity rate is at 11.1%.
Provinces in the Visayas Region led the haul today with Cebu reporting 50 new cases followed by Iloilo 39 and Negros Occidental 31. Other provinces and HUCs (highly urbanized cities) with double digits today were: Cavite 34, Baguio City 28, Rizal 28, Laguna 24, Batangas 16, Nueva Ecija 17, South Cotabato 15, Pangasinan 16, La Union 16, Cagayan de Oro 16, Bulacan 12, Tarlac 11, Pampanga 10, Davao del Sur 12, Bukidnon 13, Sultan Kudarat 13 and Maguindanao 10.
In NCR, Manila led the LGUs with 30 cases followed by Quezon City 29, Pasig 13, Taguig and Las Piñas 11 and Mandaluyong 10. All other LGUs had single digit.
