More realistic numbers as the numbers from the 4-day long weekend has ended.
The Health Agency reports 1229 new cases with 11.2% positivity rate and 39 added deaths. While NCR owned 322 cases, it was the provinces that brought in the bulk of numbers today (either up-to-date or late reports added).
Leading the provincial haul was Davao del Sur with 79 cases, followed by Cavite with 73 and Iloilo with 65. Double digits were seen in Cebu 58, Laguna 38, Negros Occidental 36, Rizal 34, Benguet 24, Agusan del Sur 23, Batangas 22, Negros Oriental 21, and Baguio City 20. Fourteen provinces reported double digits with more than 10 cases but less than 20.
In NCR, Quezon City led the numbers with 69 cases followed by Manila 49, Pasig 32, Makati 31, Taguig 26, Parañaque 19, Las Piñas 17, Mandaluyong 15, Muntinlupa 14, Valenzuela and Caloocan 13 and Pasay City 11. Navotas and Pateros had zero cases.
