The Health Agency announces 1071 new cases, on a day that we expected lower cases because it is a Tuesday. There were higher cases today than yesterday, but it is possible that some of the cases were actually late reports. Positivity rate today is up at 9.1%.
The provinces outside NCR owned 80% of the cases today with Negros Occidental leading the haul with 122 cases followed by Cebu 59, Cavite and Iloilo 51 each, Zamboanga del Sur 37, Batangas 33, Benguet 32 and Laguna 31. There were quite a number that had double digits but less than 30 cases.
In NCR, Quezon City led with 49 cases followed by Manila 38, Taguig 27, Makati 15, Pasig, Pasay City and Muntinlupa with 11 each, and Las Piñas and Parañaque with 10 each.
